Actions

Actions are snippets/scripts to reaper functions. Find them via:

Actions > Show actions list...

Here, activate "Show command ID" via the "Options" button.

Startup Actions

Enable a startup action to be executed on project startup. It can be one per project or globally for every project:

Extensions > Startup actions ... > then Set/Clear

Find the ID via the actions list (see: Actions)

Example: Start Playback on Project Load

Start playback on project load:

Set the command ID of the "Transport: Play" action, which is 1007.
Extensions > Startup actions > Set project startup action... > 1007 [and confirm].

This will play back the project from start on project load. Loop can be activacted, a playback region can be defined and both can be saved with the project. This makes this command very useful for sound installations.
